I bought a used 348 wheel from OCklasse a couple weeks ago (thank you!). I had a local guy recover it in Alcanterra, over the factory leather to slightly thicken the rim. Came out really nice I think, I love alcantera wheels. Figured this was better than buying an after market wheel.

    I got this through today from my trimmer - not finished yet as the centre part still to be done. Will go on my 355 when its done, but sharing here in the spirit of alcantara wheels. :)

    I love it.
    The guy that did mine did a crap job with the leather center of my 348 wheel, good thing I have a perfect extra one. I might have him re do my crappy one in alcantera instead of leather.

    Wheel now on the car; I love how it looks. :)

    Also loving the unexpected increase in steering weight with it being just a touch smaller. Gives the steering a more purposeful feel.
