just posting here, came across it at random..

not a fan of the hydraulic suspension, stretched tires etc.. but love those BBS rims on the 355..

those rims "properly fitted" would be very nice..

but respect for the quality of work they did. for the style, much prefer it this way, then all hacked up with wide body kits etc..

I would like to see a car at factory height versus that one on the ground at a race track going "balls to the wall".

I don't think it would be pretty for the lowered car.

Would never do it, but I like it.
Ideally, I think sports cars look best in their racing form/height, but thats very hard to pull off on the streets.

Looks like someone dropped the cars off the 3rd floor of a parking garage....fugly looking.

Japanee do all kinds of weird things, mainly they do it for the art. Interesting car cultures they have, really wild wonky off stuff that Americans scratch their head on like wide body, winged, lowered minivans etc.

The Chollla style wheels are not for me but I will sat the Testarosa looks great lowered.

Regardless if one likes or dislikes the look.

These cars must handle and ride like complete crap now with their air or hydraulic suspension.

Maybe it is Japanese Car Cuture, but the fashion versus function, trade off makes entirely no sense to me.

I lowered my MB Sedan one time and put on 19’s. Looked great, but rode and handled like shiz.

Couple of turns on my 355 springs and I would call it good. To each their own I guess .

Subtle changes in front and rear ride height made a profound difference in the balance
    ( oversteer / understeer ) of my 355.

Any moderately spirited driving in any of the above examples seems unsafe and really not fun to drive.

Don’t need to be tracking a car, or racing to enjoy it’s original intended purpose and design. Best to leave it closer to stock, IMO.
