I remember hearing it before and it's on that site. Mo Nunn called him his little pineapple. I guess it stuck from then on.
Yes, it's explained in his book, too. Mo Nunn gave him that nickname and it stuck. Max Papis also has a pineapple on his helmet, as a tribute to his friend Zanardi. Kevin
