Bought her in July and was gone a good part of Aug so it has taken awhile to get her where I'm somewhat comfortable with her. A big thanks to Charlie of Serpent Autosport where I got the wheels, 17x7. Charlie was even nice and trusting enough to ship the wheels before I had even mailed him his check! Recd the wheels 3 days later...I have had the car up to 90 so far and absolutely no wobble...the wheels balanced very well.

Some of the things I have had done or added:
    - Serpent Autosport wheels
    - Goodyear GS-D3 F1 215x45x17
    - Drilled and Slotted rotors
    - Ansa Sport muffler
    - Clutch
    - Timing Belt

Definitely in to her for more than she is worth but she's a kick to drive and I've always loved Alfa's. I'll get some more tonight...

gorgeous car, looks pretty mint from the pics. I love the way these cars drive, and they sound great, very underrated.

all it needs IMHO, is a drop to fill in that wheel gap

Agreed. Wheels look kinda 'lost' in the wheelarches. Beautiful car, congrats !

    Rags,

Looks fantastic. I agree that you need to lower it a bit to fill in the gaps. You can get lowering springs at www.alfissimo.com. I have a set of B&G springs on my Q and they make the car look fantastic. They are progressive so have a nice feel to them as well.

Also you should get a set of projector lamps. They not only make our cars look truly fantastic they also turn the darkness of night into near daylight! The stock 164 U.S. spec lights are truly dismal.

Enjoy the car. They are absolutely fantastic cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that car looks like it's in excellent condition.
Those rims make the car look a lot nicer.
I drove one when I was in Greece 2 years ago, they're very fun cars to drive. Enjoy her!

Fantastic looking 164S! I nearly bought a red/grey one as my first car many years ago, but logic got the better of me & I ended up with a stone reliable Honda instead. It still would've been a helluva car to have back then, or hell even now, and it's great to see there's still some nice ones out there. The wheels really make it look agressive. As a matter of fact I parked next to a red/grey 164S on Saturday now that I think about it. It had 17" TSW's on it which, although much nicer looking than the stock wheels, definitely don't stack up to those on your car. :D

Gorgeous car - looks like you and/or the previous owner took very good care of it. Just out of personal curiosity, what's the difference between the S and the L and the regular?
