I was at my local Alfa dealer, looking on their very good deals on the unsold 2022 Giulias...particularly one in Moonlight gray with the sport interior in beautiful red leather. They found themselves overstocked with new cars so they bought them themselves and then discounted them heavily as certified preowned. However, many of these cars are still sitting on their lots 145 days later. Not good business. But none of the dealers I've been to in the states have any idea how to sell an Italian car...Alfa or Maserati or even a Fiat. The dealerships have no style or presentation, the sales staff look like fugitives from a telephone boiler room or a convention of Vegas pimps. Their sales tactics would be more appropriate on the no-name repo used car lots. And obviously there is absolutely zero advertising to even keep the brand name alive. My problem is that I still love my black 2021 Giulia so there's no point in buying another car...right now. I'm guessing that the same cars will be even more discounted come the 2023 Memorial Day Sale...and even better on the 4th of July. Alfa's inability to sell cars is a crime.

This appears to be a world wide problem....currently trying to do a deal on a QV, the dealerships are as you describe, there is no advertising here either.
