Durn, and here I thought we were talking the Alfa 8C series, not the Fiat one.

I saw the car in the flesh 2-3 years ago in GVA.
It really looks too nice, to me it's the best looking car.

They should have brought it to market at that time for a fair price (~100'000 euros, 500 bhp, and 1400 kgs, with an updgraded interior), and everybody would have been happy. It looks so much like the old 33 stradale.

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhh i want it...

Oh no...sadly not (maybe for the ugly interior though)....
They are better at killing the brand than de tomaso/Chrysler ever were.

    They make ****

That is sweet. Alfa is on the comeback. Further down the page at that German site is the Gumpert Apollo. I believe it was designed by Audi's ex-race engineer. Check it out.

It is a poop that the article said they would not build it. I would sell the farm to have it: pedigree, classic looks and performance.

How could this car not be produced? It would be the perfect vehicle to spearhead a US comeback.

It would be too costly. Alfa dealers would have to be certified to work on it (Maserati engine). Only small number is going to be built anyway. Huge headache. Although rumors are that it will appear in some form, later on, but with a V-6 (maybe turbos) and based on a 149 chassis. Even then, a big maybe.

I think that all depends from 159. If it will be selling good, maybe they will start producing some special models...
