Pogea Racing Gmbh Look them up and the variants of the 4C that they have. They have every component you can think of.
There is Alfaworks in UK. Squadra Sportiva and many others that make madness and EC look small time. Those are the guys that have been innovating parts for the 4C.

EC has been having Check Engine light issues here and there. That is the only thing I've heard as far as ECU's go.

If your going to go with a US company. There is Torx motorsports which has been outdoing EC on terms of performance numbers. Actual testing against one another has yet to happen.
The only challenge/race was done at AutoClub Speedway. EC V2 ECU vs Pogea stage 1. Pogea posted a quicker time. And there is a 1.5 Version and 2. Pogea also offers a 2.0L engine swap that puts down the 471PS.

The work around to violating the warranty is to do a clone ECU. Takes about 5 minutes to swap them out.

Agree, Alfaworks is doing very impressive things with suspension setup--especially "jamie's blocks". Further, they have a 2.0 and bigger turbo in development as well as even ceramic rotors..

    http://live.alfaworkshop.co.uk/synergy/4C.php#lastPage

Pogea--not so sure. They don't even have an ECU on their site (at last glance). Probably a little annoying dealing with ordering from them given they are abroad.

Would not under estimate EC--they are getting fantastic reviews and I know three people that have the ECU (both V1 and V2) and none have any issues with a check engine light--and all of them love it. Also, lots of positive (and detailed) feedback on the 4c forum. One thing to keep in mind is that the intake (especially the V2) is quiet a bit louder than stock so would be good to check out the videos first. Customer feedback from the owner has been first rate by what I can tell as well.

Torx seems to have made a lot of claims--but so far have seen much less (hardly any in fact) feedback as compared to EC. I have no reason to think they have a bad product---but just wanted to point out that EC is quite good. They have a down pipe in development that may be interesting.

Thanks for the info, I will check out all of these suppliers and see what will work best for me. I usually drive the car about 100 miles and as I do I make my list of what I need to change. One thing for sure is a rear view camera. If this engine is like the Abarth all the hoses and clamps will need to be changed.

Sure there is. Now is the time to get one because soon they won't make any more coupes.

When they are all gone is when people will really appreciate them.

Jaime is a great guy. But I happen to know he ran into a speed bump on his 2.0L. Where Pogea has had theirs done and been on the dyno, putting down 471PS. And called Pogea for advice.

POGEA was the first to do an ECU tune on a 4C, first with an TCT speed flash, first on a Quadrifoglio and first on the Stelio. Their only problem is that they don't really make it easy for US customers to order off their site. Madness was a distributer of their products at first. But due to a fallout over Madness violating their agreement, Pogea pulled out.

EC just got their Quadrifoglio a couple of months ago where Pogea has car#001 of the first 10 delivered. Which he received last year.

EC is quite a bit behind in the development department. Even for an Abarth. Pogea offers a Carbon Fiber wide body, they have a 350hp Abarth, they fabricate and designs their own parts, unlike EC. . Every single component has been offered way before EC. Take a look at the ALFA 4C Centurion. There is numerous articles back in 2015, before EC had a tune. They have a complete carbon fiber kit designed from the ground up. They are now offering 5 custom Zeus Models. Which will be a limited run with the 2.0L motor and upgraded transmission. That was what the original debate happen on the 4C forums. Pogea had claimed that EC was copying their tunes, got pissed in a forum and the moderator, who is completely bias due to EC being a sponsor, banned them.

I've gone to the track and put the two up against one another. The stage 1 Pogea ECU outdid EC's stage 2. I will say, as you did, they have good customer service. But they are still dealing with Cel codes on tunes. I've been running mine very hard, tracking the crap out of it and never have had a Cel code thrown. I've also heard about their new intake tubes collapsing. Their is a forum about that as well..

471 in a 4c...would be scary fast. I think I found the link for the car: http://www.pogea-racing.com/news-detail/999962/alfa-4c-tuning-news/0/

On Pogea vs EC. I don't feel I am in a position to compare them and definitely was not trying to do so. What I can do, though, is say the feedback I have seen for EC on the 4C tune and intake has been quite good.

On Alfaworks, the feedback I have seen from them has almost been exclusively on their suspension work and on Jamie himself---people seem to be pretty happy.

I guess it depends on how you view it. There are dealers that still have brand new 2015's on their lots. The unfortunate thing is that while are great drivers cars, they also have very limited audience and that audience usually grabs their cars early giving the impression (like what happened with the Abarth in 2012-13) that the model could sell better than it will. Is it good new for those who paid sticker or over when the car came out, probably not (money wise if that is important to you) , but they got to enjoy it longer than someone like me that came to the table late. The car I found turns out to be less than 50 miles from me it, is at Brown-daub Alfa (since the deal is done I can tell you). Would I have bought it at its 68,395 sticker, probably not, but at what I got off (which was more than the $9420 they list), it became very attractive. I had the same thing happen with the Abarth (got over 9k off sticker on a 2013 car), but I also owned 3 Maserati's, which I lost more than what I got off the Alfa and the Abarth. As many of you might know I have a long history off saying the hell with warranty and doing whatever I want to a car, but I have decided to leave the i8 I bought last month alone. With this car I will have to see how far I want to go. I already have and had cars that I have done so much to that I have to drive them only when I am alone. Not sure if I want to take that route with this one, though I've said that before too, so we will see. I thank all of you for your advise.

There has been a dealer in Texas that has been offering 10k off the sticker on new, older models. I believe also in Maryland. I'll try and find the forum post for you.

If you call up the Vegas Henderson dealer you can get $10K off a spider pretty easy if they still have one.

But you'll have to ship it so that ads a grand or more back.

Specific colors are getting harder and harder to find it that's your main goal. Coupes especially.

Jaime is definitely an awesome person to deal with. He does way more than the suspension. That is what he most often get's credit for. He has a engineered complete new front and rear arms as well as being I believe the first with an Ohlins specific suspension set up for the 4C.

The difference is, in Europe, Pogea, Alfaworks, Capristo and so forth, all seem to communicate with one another and talk ideas. The guys here in the US, EC and Madness do not. EC is not innovating new products or redesigning stuff better. They are essentially an ECU tuning company that made their own Air intakes and a few other parts, that are made for them, not by them.
The biggest benefit to EC is that they are in New York and due to time zones, a lot more accessible.

The reason why I've favored Pogea over EC is performance, reliability, ease for me to reach them at anytime, the testing they've allowed me to do and ECU/TCT tweaks. Pogea is actually going to be here in California for the week. If anyone is interested in meeting him, taking a ride in a tuned 4C or wants to have their Abarth tuned for dirt cheap, shoot me a message.
They just don't build 4C's. They just built a 1000HP Corvette for some Sheik. You can see that on their site or just type in Pogea Corvette. It's been wide bodied, tastefully, and is quite a work of art.
Another fun thing to look up is Pogeweld
You can see the quality of their exhaust systems.

I bought my 2016 Coupe from Brown-Daub in Easton PA. It is optioned pretty much the way I'd have ordered it. They are holding (they have yet to remove it from their site) it till next week hopefully by then a lot of the snow and ice from Tuesday's storm will be gone.
