The Alfa Romeo Diva 'research prototype' apparantly continues to mature (the interior certainly looks a bit more developed from the Geneva debut) and actually was taken on the track after favorable reception at Europe's most prestigious concours.

I really wish they would drop the Arese engined beauty, reminiscent of the iconic type 33, square in the middle of the Elise/Boxster market segment, even as a limited run. A terrific complement to the return of the upmarket 8c this fall.

It is a a quixotic dream, but I hope Alfa returns to some of its former glory.
