I currently own a 308 and wouldn't sell it for a GTV but I'm close. I have another collector car that is for sale and I would be VERY interested in a GTV if/when it sells.

Any owners out there? Prices, values, things to watch out for, best years, etc, all info is greatly appreciated.

The 1968/1969/1970 1750's are considered the best looking by alot of owners. They had the smaller tail lights and front grill and very cool bucket seats. This was before the big US side marker lights. Good ones are expensive for a production Alfa. They made between 35,000 and 40,000 1750 GTV's.

I own a 1750gtv from 1970, it is a real joy to drive, if you are tempted, do it
you won't regret it!! Now that the suspension is fully uprated it is even mor fun.

I just bought a 67 Giulia GTV 1600 a few months ago. It's a pretty decent setup for the day, with 5 speed and spirited engine. Fun to drive and easier on your wallet than many old cars. I'm honestly not sure if the "V" really buys you much more than a normal GT in terms of performance.

Compared to a few years ago, prices are pretty darned high for good cars. These days you could easily spend $25000-$35000 for a really good and correct car, depending on the model and it's level of authenticity/restoration.

Nice picture, but I can spot a Alfa Romeo Montreal to the right, and that is most certainly a 105-series car.

All you need is too compliment the picture with a TZ1, TZ2 and a 33 Stradale, hehe.
Seriously, the 105-series range of Alfas are so rewarding to own, drive and work on.
The interaction between car and driver is great, the possibilities for tuning, track-days or racing endless, even on a limited budget, and I never tire of the beautiful shapes, especially the coupé. It´s like a baby 250SWB you can use all day, every day.(I know i am stretching it, but there are some truth to it). I´ve had two coupés (GTJ and 1750 MkII) and currently drive a Montreal, but I know I´ll get a GTV again. Highly recommended.
