    Happy Father’s Day! What better gift for dad than a day at the track enjoying some fun, sun and sound. You are invited to join us at Portland International Raceway for our annual Tri-Club Track Day sponsored this year by the Alfa Romeo Owners of Oregon. The Tri-Club (Alfa Romeo, BMW & Porsche) event will be held on Sunday June 20th at PIR. Gates open at 7 am, tech at 7:15 and the track goes live at 9 am. This event is open to all makes and models. Please go to www.motorsportreg.com (Check calendar for June 20th, Alfa Romeo-(AROO) Oregon Chapter) for registration or www.alfaclub.org for more details.

    Weather has been ordered to be dry and since Rose festival will be over, it should be sunny and warm for a change!

    I hope to be registering in the next couple days, just a few last minute details to work out. The list at motorsportreg.com has 7 people on it. Looks like lots of wide open track - what better Father's Day!

    Alfa club track days are extremely well run, and provide almost 2 hours of seat time!

    What better Father's Day present to yourself or your dad?

    Come out and play with AROO at the track in the sunshine where the Italian cars can stretch their legs!

    Not sure what the deal is with the reg list on the site showing only 7. Last time we checked with Track Chair over 55 were registered.

    So be sure to sign up soon, i know of two others who are registering tonight.
