There is an excellent article on the Montreal in the current issue of Vintage Motorsport. Pretty accurate and very complimentary of the cars.

Vintage Motorsport is an American magazine that covers the vintage racing scene and also has great, well researched articles on races and race cars of the past. They are now also doing some articles on classic sports cars like the Montreal.

Do not forget to buy the complete kit. Disk + mechanism + bearing.

I actually would occasionally get a Montreal as a loaner car from Bobcor Alfa back in the day.

Montreals were never sold in the N. American market. I've heard that somewhere between 100-200 are now over here, between the US and Canada. I don't believe that anyone in the US or Canada keeps a registry. My guesstimate is based off of others' guesstimates though if I had to narrow it down, I'd say that a more accurate range would be ~150-200 Montreals are in N. America. Some cars are little more than rusted out shells well along in the process of being parted out.

Fwiw, I own a '72 that just started restoration process 3 weeks ago.
