First off i was watching the victory by design special for the upteenth time last week and saw it... The car, sounded amazing, absolutley amazing. gave me goose bumps. Only i have no idea what it was even though they tell you. I believe it's motor was originally a v16, split into a v8? Possibly?

I've tried amazon to buy the dvd, no dice. Even tried their actual website but they are sold out their too. Really don't want to try ebay. So you guys are my last hope. Anyone got an idea of where to get it or what the name of the car was? I was thinking it might be the 308 formula one car, but for some reason i doubt that is it....

EDIT: i know the description is vague, but unfortunately that is all i can recall.

Those DVDs are MIA courtesy of the Speed Channel. They have distribution rights and are letting everyone down.

However, I have a copy of the Alfa Romeo disk, but can't really tell which car you're talking about. They have several 8 and 12 cylinder cars in it. Was it a 1930s race car? Or was it a 1960s/1970s race car?

Just found what you were talking about

Tipo 308. Originally fitted with 16 cylinder, wasn't any good....
replaced with Jano 2.9L straight 8 cylinder bored out to 3.0L, 2 superchargers 300 hp.
