    Dealer says my Alfa 4c needs a new fusebox. I can get one on Ebay but looking for a good shop that will replace it. Seems pretty straightforward. The car is running perfectly.

    Actually as fuse boxes go, its easy to get to. Its in the engine compartment next to the battery.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Oh you wouldn't want to do that with a Launch Edition. A terrible waste.

    I found the part it needs. I just need someone to replace it.

    Which dealer did you go to and how much? Santa Monica was fair to me with an oil change and break fluid. If I keep the car until next year I'll have them do the belt change, they quoted me $1,800 which seems fair. Oh and $500 for the bolts which seems cheap.

    I will never go to Santa Monica again! Long story. I'm not going to say which dealer. The car is still there.

    How about over $10,000 to replace the fusebox.

    I'd call the manufacturer's customer service team. Often times on a non-wear item that in ordinary use shouldn't go bad they will offer some sort of consideration for the repair.

    The F'n dealer won't give me the car back until the end of the week even though I told them not to fix it. This is such BS. Alfa dealers are the worst in the world!

    Call Bureau of Automotive Repair and file a complaint. It's important to root out bad behavior and customer issues.
    They have a great website.....

    Don't know if you still help but try Alfa Italia in Burbank. Onofrio and Vitorio have been taking care of my Alfa, Maserati, and Ferrari for years. Old school and honest mechanics. They have seen and done it all..

    i used to work in the playboy.com building next to alfa italia years ago in 2012-2014 and would go there at lunch all the time!
