    Production Changes
    1989 - Series 4 pre-production starts
    Jan 1990 - US ver of Series 4 makes debut at North American International Auto Show and LA Auto Show
    March 1990 - Euro ver is launched at Geneva Motor Show
    1992 - Imminent EU emmissions changes force the 1.6 and non-catalysed 2.0 out of production, leaving only the catalysed 2.0 Europa in European markets. CD player offered as an option in USA.
    April 1993 - Series 4 production comes to an end, though in the USA the Spider continues to be sold into 1994.
