Alibaba forged wheels... why not?

OK...
Alibaba is not usually known as a place to find quality products.
So why it would be OK to buy wheels there?

Well... I'm sure you're aware that most American forged wheels sold for big $$$ are made with forged blanks made in China, right? (if you're not, you should do some research)

What most companies do, is buying blanks from China and CNC machine them locally to make the final product.

So now, please tell me the difference between a wheel CNC machined in US and another one CNC machined in China?
If the blanks are the same, technically I don't see any.

Furthermore, a China forged wheel should be much more stronger than any OEM cast wheel, or did I miss something?
As long as the supplier is trustfull I think it is a no brainer (of course all is in finding the good supplier).

And the best of it: for a fraction of the cost of a regular set, you can have your own design made.

Alibaba is not a fancy name to associate with Ferrari, but if it's the way to have unique and quality wheels without spending a fortune, why not?

I'm really close to pass my order, but I'm all ears...maybe you can talk me out of it?
