On the carb cars, ALWAYS be aware of backfires when starting. Counterintuitively the solution is to keep the revs UP, pulling the fire back down the carb, where it belongs! In that case the oil elements in the filters were working against that poor chap.

Two fire extiguishers on board for me, once is never enough.

Goodyear fuel lines, inspected and replaced regularly.

Check your snail mail soon, Chelle! Had to deal with the Tax Man first!
They broke the stamp machine about 10PM last night. I must have made a math error, they owe me!

while being very nimble, the urraco still doesn't compare to the Stratos ... perhaps somewhat in width, but keep in mind it's a 4 seater ... with more leg room than an XK8 !!!

Here are a couple bad pictures that kinda make the size comparable.
Next to a Ranger pick-up, and with my dirtbike in the "background" (please don't comment on the crappy garage!!! LOL ... it has improved a lot since the picture).

I will take many more pictures as soon as we get it out hibernation ...
