a master piece from france, christian gouel resin kit, no coments on everything, only rubbers tires i have replace those from fujimi honda from those years, as you can see the photos that is much better molded and more realistic. straightbuilt, with some minor upgrading & visible wiring. the better the kit is,the less time i have 2 spend my time on it, there's much more beautier 'g' , 'w', 'l', or 'bbs' than ferraris, that i need time to be with. : ) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Humberto your models look great! I'm very impressed with the quality AND amount of models you have in your collection. Well done! Ed
thx, edward not at all, some early mades are still to be replaced, coz different reasons, it's a bit boring when i have to built it on second time, that's the reason i can't be a professional builder, that's why i'm a builder and collector only. the amount of different ferrari models i have is i'd put aside what material is under the base coat of them, what i care is the quality (my standarts only) of finished models, who knows what is under the paint when i'm only the one to touch them. conversions is also my favorite hobby, with a market model, sometimes u can turn it to various versions. best regards to all of you!
david piper told me to paint the car as i want : ), for the car to be race at 1968 lemans. it's the third 250lm i had built with different body configurations, long & short noses, and this one, wide fenders, nice cast resin kit from scale designs. Looks really nice, although the green version does stand out more in a Ferrari collection. Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 2012
if i get started to built ferraris of other colours, i think , i need some more hundreds years to build them, so is better to continue to insist what i started, coz i don't have much more time left for this hobby. : )
as a fan of ferrari i opted to build the f10 of the turkish gp, coz it was to comemorate the 800th race on the f1. kit from revell, tires went to rubbish bin, coz it was distorted and doesn't fit on the wheels, and they melt the wheels on time, it happens on my old revell models. although it cames with the 800th decals, the body is still requires a lot modifications, upgrading and additions of parts to fit the configurations as raced in that gp. rear part of the under panel, rear of the engine cover, body lines have to be redone. in general it has good body proportions and nice decals. they from japanese kit, i don't know exactly the brand, from my spare tires box, just found them to fit the wheels, a little bit wider on the rear ones. it's my pleasure to share. thanks.
