Just a quick picture to share. Obviously September is the 25th anniversary of the launch of the 348 so I set up a quick picture at a Ferrari display I was organising. Basically a Rosso and correctly coloured RHD example of each of the UK roadgoing variants - TS, TB, Spider, GTB, GTS, GTC. To be fair not that easy to get together given the very low numbers of RHD GTB, GTS and GTC in particular - less than 10 RHD rosso examples of each I think. Lots of cameras there so sure better pictures of the line up will pop up. Just seemed worth doing :)

Thanks for the offer :) but these are all the UK RHD variants hence the lack of the SS. The SS was essentially sold in the states alongside what we called the GTB and GTS in europe. The left hand models would be TS, TB, Spider, the SS models, GTC and Factory Challenge. We located a Factory Challenge in the UK but as they were all LHD (RHD Challenge cars were dealer converted from TS,TB, GTS, GTB) it didn't really fit the line. Was also touch and go to get it there in time.

So yep, this is the UK 'chapter' of The Brotherhood tipping our cap at the 348 on her 25th birthday. You could set up a US lineup of your models perhaps?

BTW all cars were not just Rosso Corsa, they were all mint condition, original looking matching interiors (other than GTC which was original for them) and TS and GTS had original black targas. The only none original looking parts on any car was wing shields...... but all 6 had them so we all matched. Given the RHD production numbers I was seriously surprised we pulled it off.

The TB and TS shouldn't really have a cavallino on the front grille. ;)

There's a little debate over here as to when it became an option - for the GTB or was it available for the later TBs? This is the official parts diagram for the TB over here in Europe - you can see it has the early style front grill (GTB,GTS, Spider and GTC are different) but the Cavallino is included in the parts diagram (eurospares is the easiest to find here on my phone but if you check on other sites for the later TB it's the same).

    http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTable.asp?M=1&Mo=434&A=2&B=23710&S=

Also, I can't pull it up on my phone but if someone is able to pop "Ferrari.com Ferrari 348 TB" into google I'm pretty sure the early shot they used to have of a TB has the front Cavallino in place. That's from memory so could be wrong.

Anyway, it seems that the option may have come in on the very late TB/TS rather than with the launch of the GTB/GTS so perhaps either with or without is actually correct :)

Re the black lowers the TS is mine and I wouldn't have it any other way. The TB is a chap called Clive who's on here now and then. His car enters our Ferrari Owners Club Concours so you can imagine how original that is (other than the shields and perhaps front Cavallino :) ). We both also have the panel forward of the engine cover painted black as it should be on the cars. I dug out my original steering wheel and gear shift top for the day although I couldn't find my original indicator stalk ends or pedals (got Hills items in there). This was my girl getting prepped in my garage:

Nice shot. Very good of them to do a Birthday flypast for the 348s. Think we gave our girls a good celebration. Great to see you and your 348 there :)

Well done Pete!! Lovely group of cars and great idea :)

There were actually 4 RHD SS models, though like your challenge example, they were not "Factory" but rather Maranello Concessionaire "specials" ;)
