    I am really close on taking delivery of my first F430 :) ... Wow how exciting. I am having the vehicle delivered to my home from a private sale via a Reliant (trucking company). My question is regarding payment to the original car owner. What is the best way to handle this transaction (money exchange) in a safe way for both parties?

    Welcome to the forum.

    I went through escrow with a lawyer when I bought mine. So we had contracts, earnest money, etc. I had money wired to seller right after we signed contract.
