I'm Jason, an active duty military nurse currently stationed in Japan but transferring back to the US very soon. Been here for five years, and 3 years ago found my dream girl (she is from Japan) and we have a son who turns 1 next month. I love my job and I pretty much am planning on staying in the military as long as they will let me (maybe 30 years total?)

I'm not technically a former Ferrari owner as it was my father's car, but I was the only one who drove it. It was a 1996 355 that he bought brand new and kept it for about 8 years I think. He let me drive it even at age 16. I was raised on the race track, started out karting and then worked my way up to Formula Continental eventually. I quit at age 19 when we finally realized I just wasn't quite good enough to make any substantial income from racing. But it was a great learning experience and really taught me about driving a true high performance car. My father also successfully turned me into a F1 fanatic (will be attending the Japanese GP in a couple weeks).

I currently own a 2005 Porsche 911 C2S, a 2008 Honda Civic Type R (being sold next week), a 1967 Corvette that my dad and I restored, and our new family car a 2011 Volvo XC60.

I'll be selling the 911 next year, probably buying our 4th house (I like real estate investments) and as long as all goes well, I'll be picking up a 2007ish F430 Spider by the end of next year.

I love my Porsche, and surprisingly I absolutely love my Civic, but I can't wait to get back behind the wheel of a Ferrari.

Hello Jason and welcome to FChat! I wish I could attend the Japanese GP, but not good timing for me now. '67 Corvette? What a beautiful car! Wishing you and your family the very best always.....
