Ugh, finished under caution because of a late crash, which wasn't their fault, of an Extreme 458 that was running 2nd and pushing for 1st. Could have been a great finish. :(

Muscle Milk won P1, Level 5 won P2, Flying Lizard won GT.

Scott Sharp in the other Extreme 458 was 4th in GT.

That is what makes for great racing. Just when you think something or someone is done, they tables get turned. Season's not over yet, and you have several races that can change the championship picture.

They were BoP (performance balanced) out of this world in the ALMS, and now after Lemans in the WEC as well..

porsche's now run 'illegal' aero kit (illegal as in it's not permitted by rules, but was deemed legal trough a waiver),, it is also now running 1mm larger resistors then perscribed by the rules...and 30 (or 50 I don't remember) less weight...

the rest of the WEC will just be a game of how much porsche can sandbag and still win.

as for the ALMS, also an exercise of sandbagging, but here things tend to be tricky as many safety cars interfere, and sandbagging can easily bite you back...

But it makes for interesting racing and conversation. Your statement only indicates that the season isn't done and it can change rapidly. Good or bad, it does make for a interesting finish to the season.

for a casual viewer who doesn't care one way or the other, and on;y wants to see pretty cars moving around maybe.
But for the fans it's a hit in the xxx... I mean what's the point of Ferrari's hard work and development if they can't win a championship because the FIA/ACO won't let then.

It was bad enough with the corvette and BMWs getting huge breaks, but now porsche as well...

I'm not totally against BoP, but this is just ridiculous... making such huge adjustments from one race to the other is not BoP it's a plain gift of a few races to the porsche teams...

to understand what I mean you have to get that Porsche was BoPed 0.3mm already fro the whole of the 2011 season, and now they get another 0.7mm, that's like giving them 75hp at once...

and if that wasn't enough they get to put the rear spoiler 100mm higher. a completely illegal front splitter, and 50kg less...It doesn't make the racing exciting it makes it artificial, and boring, as the only thing we will see for the rest of the season is Porsche sandbagging..driving just fast enough to win, while having huge amounts of speed in reserve..Racing should not punish people who develop their cars, it should punish those the don't...
