--> The Ferrari doesnt have a qualifying edge unlike last week.
--> What happened to Romain Dumas' car - was it penalized for something?
--> All the classes except LMP2 seem to have a tight grid - close lap times. The Porsche is a mile ahead. For Liz to win, it will take luck and unreliability of the RS Spiders.

I thought Wolf Henzler was in a Panoz? Why did he go back to a Porsche?

I'm new to this. What's the story behind this series? Did Ferrari enter a F430 challenge, or are these all private owners with their personal teams racing their own cars? Any regulations on the vehicles? I see everything from GT2s to all-out Porsche LM cars. How long are the races?

    Very cool thus far.

Just got home from the track. Penske 1-2. Salo cut a tire on lap 1, catch up to 3rd the rest of the way. Enge was ahead of the Corvettes in the Aston and cut a tire.

Not a bad weekend for Roger Penske:

    --A 1-2 overall finish at ALMS Mid-Ohio,

--A 1-2 starting position for the Indy 500!

What a great weekend! Couldn't have asked for better weather for the race yesterday. I took a bunch of photos and will post a few in a few days.

Glad the Corvettes were able to stay ahead of the AM DBR9's...

The Porsche RS Spyders are real loud! They look, run, and sound great. Porsche did a fantastic job developing that car. It should make a somewhat serious run to the top of the leaderboard at La Sarthe...

Thanks. I barely know how to turn the camera on. I know it's all location as I have never received a photo compliment. I was between the Spyders and the Astons for Sat. practice & qualifying and my camera did a DNF or I would have more. All my on track stuff reflects my skills and are not worthy of posting but I will put some stuff up tonight.

Note the wood at the bottom of the Spyder pic. I stood right there for 3 hrs. The Astons were 10 ft to my right. The rest of the field going by on pit lane. This series has so many different motor sounds that it just blows you away to stand that close. Just awesome!

    Thanks for the pictures.
