I didn't even realize Da Matta had returned to racing until I saw his name on the Jag.

Now what was this with ESPN2 turning the Risi Ferrari into an LMPC car? All day long they had the car in the wrong class in the screen-top crawl. What a bunch of dumbasses!

Was it ALMS or Grand Am I was watching that said Michael Waltrip was going to field a team next season (ostensibly a 458?)

Interesting, I have done some searching and only found an old story that answer my question. I dont remember if I was watching Speed or ESPN, on Saturday or Sunday... Maybe they were speculating rather than reporting facts... But this is all I can find in writing, and it would have been pre LeMans, right?

I did a search and couldn't find anything recent either. I also looked on Mikey's website and didn't see anything new.
