    The ALMS race at Road America is this weekend. It's showing 4 Ferrari 430 GT's entered by 2 teams. The Porsche RS and Corvette ZR1's will also be back. I will be going to practice on Thursday or Friday as the Milwaukee Masterpiece Concours is Saturday/Sunday.

    Support the best road racing series in the America's by attending.

    Here is the entry list. The series will be up at RA starting this Wednesday.

    Some photos of the cars at Road America this weekend. The GT class is really tight with Ferrari, Porsche, Corvette and BMW all being very strong and able to win. The Jaguar still needs work, but looks nice. The Ford GT is very cool. They keep updating it every year.
    Cool paint on the Gunnar LMPC protototype. Its supposed to be an eco happy happy car.
    This is the last year for the Risi 430GT as the new car is supposed to be ready by Sebring according to the team. Also a Porsche RS is racing this weekend in LMP.

    I took this shot at Laguna Seca. It is not a ALMS 430 GT but a Grand Am 430 GT, which is very similar. Used to be a Challenge 430. It was quite an exercise to get into the cockpit with the rollbar blocking entry.

    I hope to get up there tomorrow if the weather is not too bad, but I will be up there for sure on Sunday which looks like a perfect day. :)
