We just purchased a condo in Maui at the beautiful Honua Kai Resort & Spa. The building has undergroud parking, and I am thinking of shipping my Harley over and keeping it covered and trickle charged in the garage. Does anybody have a ball park figure to ship from TX to HI? Not sure I will send it over at this point, just want to get an idea.

Crate it and then call DHX for a quote after you have the crate size and weight. They will pick up at your location and deliver to your home in Hawaii. The other option is to call Matson and see what they will do. I don't know if they will ship a bike uncrated. Matson will want you to drop off at their location on a west coast dock. 1K either way I would bet.

The companys have special mini containers for the bikes now. I was going to ship one here last year and it was about 600 bucks enclosed if memory serves from Seattle or Los Angeles. 1200 seems a bit steep, but then I keep seeing raising rates in the paper.

Used these guys for a car 6 years ago as they were recommended by the Auto Club. Maybe check with them. ($1100 enclosed container & insured for a car)

    Thanks. I'll check them out.

I wish I could have a Ferrari there. I probably won't be there more than 8 weeks a year, so the yellow car will stay in Texas. Maybe if you guy do a cars and coffee type meeting I could drop by and see what Maui has going. We close on the condo at the end of Aug, so I'll be back in Maui for another week :)
