And Max and Seb obviously did not pay attention at school, otherwise they both would know that two objects can not be at the same place at the same time...(assuming that they are not fast enough to be affected by the Heisenberg uncertaintly principle)

 

Yes and no...they've been hurt greatly by having their floor taken away from them after Mercedes hired Allison. Their special floor is part of the concept of the car and when they where told to change it...well the story tells itself. The car lost a ton of downforce because of this, Mercedes was on easy street from that point on.

It wasn't helped with the much discussed mistakes, either. I think we ran our turbo for 8 bloody races before it failed, purely because they upgraded it a few times early on in the season, and not taking the small penalty to swap it in either Monza or Spa. Stupid stupid stupid...

 

Hopefully all this can be corrected by next season!!

 

Also, all that you've mentioned in another post PLUS "no one not knowing" Mercedes changing the engine from 1.2ltrs per/100km of oil down to 0.9ltrs per 100/km. It caught everyone by "surprise" but is was obvious they were in developement a long time ago.

Yep

Mercedes runs a very sophisticated system for their oil consumption. Ferrari's was very simple but did the job all the same...It pissed me off that that was taken away as it ruined Saturday's immediately for me.

Mercedes played a lot of these games....slightest bit of competition and they went running, knowing they could explain their systems to FIA. Do hope they produce a total turd some point soon.

 

But wasn´t Mercedes clever suspension taken from them this year as well? I doubt that Ferrari is much different: if they have a more clever solution or no solution at all for the same problem every team will run to the FIA and tattle...Problem is: Ferrari lost with Allison an insider and Mercedes hired a great source

 

Well, it was after Mercedes who wrote the engine rules, had illegal tyre tests...of course they had to win both championships..

 

Yes but Mercedes and others where all told well before this that it was likely the clever suspension would be taken away.

 

Hamilton is not well liked in Spain. The eruption from the crowd when elton drove into Rosberg last year was VERY telling. It was louder than the cars (ok that's not saying much these days...)

I read him (UNFAIRLY) dissing Ferrari, yet again! It was not as easy as Fernando is saying. Up until Singapore, this season was a toss-up that favored Ferrari. Ferrari would have won Singapore, Malaysia and Mexico (maybe), Merc would have had USGP and Japan. This thing would have come down to Abu Dhabi, but fate threw a grenade on Ferrari's season and Seb.

Total b.s. by Alonso...had he stayed put with the Scuderia (and not trashed the team so much over the radio), this may have been a great campaign.

I also read it as a dis toward Ferrari/Vettel. He would be fuming if Ferrari won with Vettel and accomplished what he couldn't. He even mentioned that Hamilton having 4 titles makes a lot more sense than Vettel having 4 titles. Too bad he wasn't at Ferrari this year. He wouldn't be making mistakes like Baku, Singapore, Mexico, etc

 

Yep...about Alonso not making the mistakes that Vettel did....not the rest.

 

He is good, but with shots like that, Ferd's chances to be let back in the fold are growing slimmer and slimmer.

Alonso is a POS, he and the garbage spanish press are so sore in the ass by being kicked from Ferrari they take every oportunity to attack Seb and Ferrari itself, their frustration is so obvious that even most spanish fans heve fun trolling their newpapers (or should i say toilet papers) and Alonso himself. Alonso may look calmer and a better person, but everytime he distracts himself a bit, the mask falls and his snake tongue spills all the venom it can. Alonso made far more mistakes at Ferrari than Seb, whom apart from Baku and this last race i really have nothing to point out.
