http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news/detail/091015092019.shtml I think its going to put a strain on their relationship next year. Sorry if repost.
And that what happened in 2007 after that Jean Todt left and Ferrari begin messing with Raikkonen. oh well, i'm done arguing with Massa fans, let them celebrate, before reality hits them next year.
"Speaking over lunch earlier in the day, and fully on the record, Massa told a group of journalists: 'Alonso knew, I'm sure. It was impossible for him not know about it. I know, without a doubt, that he knew about it'." One too many Brahmas with that lunch, perhaps?
I thought Alonso's answer showed class (couldn't find an English source, re-translated from German): Nevertheless, him being so friendly could also mean Massa was spot on...
Massa is right on the money and ofcourse Ferrari is trying to play things down. They should've hired a different driver if they didn't want any controversies. I'm talking about Alonso ofcourse, not Massa!
I gotta admit it's almost impossible to accept that FA didn't know about crashgate beforehand, but as they say in the courtroom, he's innocent until proven guilty, and the FIA have officially closed the case. So although I sympathise with FM it's time to put it behind us and move on. His employers have made their decision and if he can't accept it then he should move teams. Then, if he can prove it, then he can do a NPj and drag up the dirty linen. It's a shame coz I like FM, but I think 2008 was his one & only chance at the WDC and FA will drive circles around him next year.
+100! Well said. I think these outbursts by Massa are just the begining because IMO, deep down Massa believes the same as what you posted.
This probably would have been FM's year to be top dog. That's now come and gone. I really can't see him playing second fiddle and tolerating it too well. If he's still competitive you'll probably seem him leaving in frustration after his contract is up. F think they can buy their way to the top. It didn't last with Kimi so we'll see how well it works with the controversial guy?
Alonso probably DID know about, let's face it. But Massa shouldn't be caught dissing him in public since he'll probably soon be racing with him. Assuming his health allows a return, there is going to be an intense fight for dominance at Scuderia Ferrari! And far less friendly than with Kimi.
ROTFLMAO!!! Against all odds, I might just become a Massa fan. He's stupid as a door knob but he's got balls and a great sense of timing. Next season will an exciting one as the Ferraris will be taking each other out in just about every race. Errrr.....Forza Domenicali!
Best I can guess is that he's frustrated sitting on the sidelines and needs a bit of excitement in his life.
Certainly could be, or he's more out of the "reach" of Ferrari's PR department. I dunno....should make for an interesting off season.
Absolutely. So much for the "oh we are both Latin and we will get along" act. Massa is still bitter about looking ridiculous in Singapore 2008, and I don't blame him. But I don't know if it is a wise decision to bring it up after everything that happened. If anything he should still be mad at Glock.
