There is a thread in the F1 section.

If I were Ferrari, I would have taken Daniel.

Yes, it is on that other Website - something to do with Corvettes.

I thought I heard they were paying Alonso 48 mill a year. I am curious what the "tempting" offer the made Vettel.

News or rumor has it that Vettel negotiated an $80MM contract with Ferrari...

One question remains - what could possibly SeaBass do (in that Fcar) that Alonso has not already done?

Sorry, but I just don't get it.

But then, I have been magnificently wrong before.

With so much shuffle going on at the factory. I am sure there will be improvements. But you are correct in assuming. Will it be enough??

In Vettel's interview over the weekend he said that he wanted a "new Challenge". If he thinks he is going to Ferrari to pull off another Schumacher era, I am afraid he will have some bad news. Not the least of which I would have to question his developmental ability for a problematic car.
Schumacher was relentless in his ability to get everything out of the car and the team and I don't think vettel has that mettle.:)
This may just be another mistake in what appears to be a long list of them.

lol, the thought did cross my mind he was trying to pull a Schumi. That is a hell of a challenge. The 80 mill paycheck probably did not hurt.. It will be interesting to see what happens next..

There are worse guys than Vettel to have pushing your Pettel to the Mettel. But if it doesnt work out, will this put Ferrari into Debttel?

He's not demonstrated his ability to fettle with this year's RB, instead opting to settle for second best. A jet'll be the only thing that makes a Ferrari run it seems. Fine kettle of fish.
    :D
    Hey Dave :)
    That was sfun.
