If not, I will blame it on the Belgian race this year......would be forever annoyed about that if he doesn't win WDC

If he does win we can blame it on Renault's inability to build an alternator.

...or Red Bull's inability to build a chassis that allows for sufficient cooling of an alternator:)

It has happened on the Lotus chassis a few times and even the Pirelli test car which is a Renalt, so no its not Red Bull's doing.

LOL...if Renault digs deep enough into the issue they will find an Italian engineer and/or supplier with a smile on his/her face. :D

Well it doesn't surprise me at all.

My Eagle Medallion chewed through alternators at an alarming rate...but I'll leave that story for a later date...;)

Who supplies the Renault alternator.. Magnetti Marelli.:D RB boss, Horner's boss, told Renault to change suppliers. They said no. :D To be fair to RB re cooling the Loti have had failures as well.

No kidding this thread has probably jinxed us. This thing is FAR from over and who cares what Lauda says, he flip flopped 3-4 times in 2010 on who was going to win the title in the final 6 or so races.

I am all for it. Will take some luck as Fred does not have the fastest car. Fred is arguably the best driver out there. I believe his input into the car has made the F2012 more competitive although there are still problems.

If Fred wins the WDC I (and I suspect many here) will be dancing in the street.

    Forza Fred.
    Forza Phil.
    Forza Ferrari.

If Lauda says it Alonso will definitely NOT become WC...:(

edit: if Alonso keeps up his current performance like Lauda says, he will not be champion. Alonso can't rely on enduring bad luck for Hamilton/Vettel. He needs to win as well.
