    Let's imagine the running order in the final race is like the Brazilian GP, Vettle leading Webber leading Alonso, which is a very possible scenario given the pace of RBR.

    Even if Vettle were to let Webber by, he won't do it until the very last moment, because for all he knows, something (engine failure and etc) can happen to Alonso 100 yards before finish line, he would only do it when he is sure that he can't win it himself because Alonso is finishing the race at 3rd place.

    If that were to happen, and Alonso were to lose the championship, guess what he could do? He could just brake and stop before the finish line LOL :D
    That will be huge jokes on Vettle, because he just lost his own championship for letting Webber by.

    I know it's probably ****** move, I just thought it's funny/interesting that Vettle can be doomed either way.

    look at it this way...Vettel and Webber hate eachother. Webber and Alonso are close friends. RBR has no team orders and their drivers aren't team players regardless of RBR getting the Constructor's win.

    So, if Webber can't win the championship he'll give it to Alonso before giving it to Vettel. And, if Vettel can't win, he'll give it to Alonso before giving it to Webber. It's all Alonso's to lose - which he probably won't.

    I doubt Alonso would do that, he certainly could but I'm not sure the FIA and Bernie would be too happy. That would be a great way to get kicked out of F1

    It would create headlines... :eek:

    If Vettel helps Webber then I don't think we'll see Sebastian in red overalls anytime soon.

    It didn't when Kimi beat Lewis. Alonso was remarkably lackluster in that race. As if he didn't want to help his teammate. Imagine that...;)
