Does anyone here, sponsor or otherwise, service Alpina watches? I have a Startimer Automatic I bought a year and a half ago that has stopped. Local watch doctor opened it up and said weight moved freely but second hand wouldn't move when spun. That was the extent he would go into it and didn't delve any further. Watch winds, hour/minute/date advance via crown but something is amiss.

My wife's shop doesn't carry that brand anymore, so...

Funny thing is that I have 2 of them! :)

I put a NATO strap on my Startimer and wear it all the time.

    mine...

The Startimer has a different black Nato strap on it ATM. The other one still has the shark mesh on it but I have the other polished bracelet. The Alpina strap in this pic actually came with the Diver.
