I am going to replace the head unit on my 360. My shop recommends Alpine or Kenwood.

Any 360 or 430 owners have after market head unit on their F-Car? Recommendations?

Take a look at the Pioneer Avic N4. I am considering replacing my unit with this. Another Fchat member had this unit installed and recommended it to me.

You need a radio? What about that orchestra sitting permanently behind your head?

sorry but a JVC there seems kind of unholy.
Try Becker, Nakamichi or something more subtle.

Alpine in my car; I can't complain.

It's also cool that I have the option to plug in several other features into it (nav, bluetooth, etc) since I really don't use it much for listening to tunes.

If you want a high end headunit, I would suggest: Eclipse, Alpine or McIntosh. ONLY.

I know alpine that with alpine units, the color of the buttons can be changed. How close does it get to the stock 360 buttons? (like the AC buttons or window buttons?)

I have an Alpine IVA-D310 (yeah, I peaked at my manual).

It's a cool setup since you can play either a DVD or a music disc (mp3/wma compat). I would advise adding on a CD (or DVD) changer though just so you can have more tunes on hand. I usually run a music DVD in the main unit, and then stuff a bunch of music discs into the changer. It's a great setup!

Pics of the deck and control unit; and yes, you have the option of not having the LCD flip out and block the vents -

I have had both Alpine and Kenwood, both in the same car and I much prefer the Alpine. I don't know the exact model number but it actually has no CD player, it is set up to strictly play my ipod.

Anyone know where I can buy a Radio Wire Adapter Converter ? I.E. Crutchfield sells pre-made adapters that attach to your original harness so you don't have to cut the wires, but they don't make them for the Ferrari. any other sources?
