Hey guys, I'm trying to remove an Alpine 7982 from a 1995 F355. I have removed the detachable faceplat but don't see anywhere for dinns or removal tools. I took the 4 screws from the front surround plate (2 top and 2 bottom) as well as 2 screws that were in the back on the bottom side. The unit is plenty loose but just won't come out. I know this is an older unit but firgured I'd take my chances that somebody's done one of these before. Thanks alot, Danny
Danny, Once you remove the faceplate, look at the left and right side of the inside of the trim ring. You should see a small round locking device on each side. With a small pick or screwdriver, lift the locking devices up on each side and then slide the radio out. Hope this helps. Romeo
