    LOL!! a gradge kept car might be just up my alley.

    I flew to ft. lauderadale last week to see an 08 silverstone (yes, I know I said no silver gray variants - never say never) but it was an f-car dealer and looked nice on their website and the sales guy said it was perfect. Not. Lots of cosmetic defects. I know these are "used" cars but Id like a nice one

    Was going to fly to Tampa (why are all these in FL?) friday to see an 08 Pozzi but had to cancel at the last minute.

    I'll investigate the Rosso Gradge car. low miles for sure. I don't really get a warm and fuzzy when the ad is limited to a sentence.

    Still waiting for a TDF to be ready at F/Houston.

    My advice; pretty much skip Florida cars.
    I think in Florida they have a different definition of perfect.
    "Its runnin ! Perfect !"

    PS some of my best found deals were from those that did not know how to market the item. Seems logical once you think about it.

    Bob, if you keep up your intensity, I might just have to show you my 2007 F430 6sp coupe with 17,000 miles and full front clear bra. Its Titanium Grigio, with 'ball poished' Challenge wheels. She's not perfect, but very nice with full records.

    It's one of several cars I own, so I wouldn't miss her too much if I sold her.

    I guess I'm feeling greedy hoarding all these manual cars when someone as dedicated as yourself is working so hard to find something I came across so easily.

    I apologize for the poor pic. I've been too busy driving her to do a proper photo shoot of her.

    Any other color!! a 6spd no less :-(

    why am I shying away from Titanio and other grey/silver variants? my SUV is silver, my DD is silver, my former P-car was silver and my current 360 is GT!

    The color gods are against me. Texitalia. that is one sweet car!

    Look at it this way Bob, you could buy his 430 and VERY few people would even know you'd switched cars. :)

    No worries. Thank you for the compliment. I understand how you feel. I chuckled when the EVH 348 got to the shop. It was basically a companion car to the 430:

    This week's update...
    FOA has two 430's now, they had none when the hunt began. An 07 rosso, very nice, good price, 10K miles and 5% clutch wear. Wife hates red.
    They had a 2nd rosso, an 06 but had dash bubbles. Frst 430 I've seen with that. did i mention the wife hates red...

    Flying to Tampa this weekend to see the Pozzi and a silverstone. I know, I know...Florida cars but actually both were from other states. Maybe non-floridans took car of them :)

    Ferrari of Austin has 2 430's An 07 Rosso with 12k miles and an 06 Rosso with 20k miles. The 07 is particularly nice. Almost bought that one

    Well boys and girls, the hunt is over...

    Despite all your local leads and suggestions (thank you everyone!), I had to expand out of state to find the right one for me. The wife and I travelled to Clearwater/St. Petersburg over the weekend and bought a 430.
    It's an 08, Pozzi (like a midnight blue) with a saddle/natural leather interior, not the light tan we're all used to. The pic of the door panel shows the true color. Marvelous! It's got 13K miles and fully serviced with records. Until it was bought by the Florida dealer (RR, Mclaren, Aston) it lived most of its life in Virginia and was serviced by F of Washington.

    So, let's see...
    CCB's
    Upgraded hifi
    Carbon everything - driver zone, console, paddles and even the sills.
    Daytona's with blue stitching and blue dash
    Leather headliner and rear bench
    Books, both keys, car cover, yada, yada
    Clear bra - entire front end. Although I think I might have to have it renewed.
    75% clutch life.

    Now... the 2-3 week wait until it rolls off the truck. tic toc...
