    Well, my birthday is next Tuesday. I'm not turning 23 like some of us, I'm turning 31. So, I figured that I should buy myself something cool, because when I turned 30, I bought myself a new suit and an iPod.

    So, in the interest of out doing that lousy performance:

    I got a Gallardo.

    I pick up the car tomorrow so it will be making the rounds at Crystal Cove and the Claremont Concours this weekend.

    The car features:

    - Blue Caelum paint with Two-Tone Blue and Tan Leather interior with blue carpet
    - eGear
    - Sport Suspension
    - Heated Seats, Mirrors
    - Alarm
    - On-Board Computer
    - Homelink

    ...and a whole bunch of other stuff.

    I got a killer, killer, killer deal on this car. Killer deal. Like, the discount I got on this car was almost half of what I paid for Fishbulb (who I still have and will for some time...)

    I opted for the Gallardo over the 360 for a few reasons:

    - It's worlds faster than the 360. Hands down.

    - The brakes are unbelievable (Anyone who has done the 2-foot prayer on their f-car will understand)

    - It's an extraordinarily safe car in comparison to the 355, 360, and 430.

    - Keri LOVED driving it. LOVED it. Check her blog later today for her opinion on the car.

    - It's much more rare out here in Southern California (If I announced Spots of 360s out here you'd get sick of hearing from me. More sick than you already are)

    - Personally, I like the styling on the car more than that of the 360. The rear end is a tad questionable, but we all know I'm not 360 super-fan #1 -- more like #3.

    ...and how do you refuse a brand new exotic car at importer cost with a full 2 Year/24,000 mile warranty? (That includes services, clutch, etc.)

    I'll be sure to shoot some pictures on Friday and get them posted. Actually, posting will have to wait until after CC on Saturday. It's a BIZEE weekend: Family Guy, Live on Friday; Crystal Cove; Sailing on Saturday; Claremont Concours on Sunday -- It's off to a great start this California driving season!

    Congrats E-man! Nice selection and I'm looking forward to seeing it soon. Now I have yet another excuse to come out to the WC and get my a$$ on the plane!

    Hahaha, Happy Birthday. Not a bad gift to give yourself, that's my goal to be able to buy myself that type of gift at the drop of a dime. Not a bad choice of car. Now you do understand the rule of Woman right? You must buy the wife a greater present than you bought yourself. ;)

    what if i turn f355 in for a lamebo gayado, heard the shiet is going for 140's, cant beat the price homie. dats like 30g less than a decent 360 spider.
