    I shut my 599 down parking and wanted to straighten it out and did a quick restart. Got a puff of white smoke, alt fault warning, and no power steering. Shut it down immediately.
    What next. Anyone have a similar experience with the alt fault message. New battery and no previous electrical issues. Thanks as car is just 30 days with me. Lots (of great things) to learn.
