    Hello all
The 365 gt 2+2 is also referred to as " Altair "
Can anyone please give an explanation to this name as intended with the car ?
In Arabic ( as stated on google ) " Altair " is a name meaning " Flying eagle "
Also one meaning can be that one of the largest stars in the sky visible to the naked eye and also in a reddish hue is called " Altair "

    Thank you

I've never heard of that! Google wasn't much help either. Can you elaborate?

Yes , as Bryanp has also quoted above, it can be seen in factory literature and also , I was having a chat with a Maranello Ferrari dealer and he also referred to the model as "Altair ". I asked him if he knew what the name was , and him being younger than me :) simply told me that he did not know .
