Obviously, I'm not tightening the screw enough that holds the cover on this fuse box (the one that's mounted on the engine firewall). For the second time in one year, it's fallen off while the car is on the road. This is getting expensive! My usual sources--GT Car Parts, T. Rutland, Dennis McCann--are all out. Guess I'm not the only one with this problem. Anybody have a source with these in stock? Malcolm?

Yes, I will start using blue Loctite from now on!

    Thanks, guys

    Bill

    Bill,
I've had success using RTV in somewhat delicate applications. You just want to discourage lightly-torqued fasteners from loosening up. Even the mildest form of Loctite can be too 'grippy' for small components.
    Cheers,

I'm fairly certain Rutland's has them in stock. P/N is 20151601 and the phenolic 60amp fuse is 95403009.

Thanks, guys. I'll try Rutlands again (didn't have any 2 weeks ago) and then Ferrari UK, if necessary. RTV -- good idea!

I saw a cover and screw on a parts table at Rutland's. Good shape.
