Just got back from a great run in the 456. As I pulled in the driveway the battery light came on. I guess I will check to see if its an Alternator problem. Any suggestions ?

Well I got stuck in Greece during gumball with a bad alternator..
first battery light followed by power steering light and abs light. windows slow down in closing and opening.. than to a silent dead.. all happens withing 10 mins..
So I am thinking if you dont have power steering and abs light on .. it just may be battery going bad..
Test if battery reads around 14 volts when engine is running and 12 volts when engine stopped.
14 tells you alternator is recharging.
alternator is around 900USD brand new.. harmony autosports have it if you need it.. ask for chris.. he is great with keeping up with the order.
    Good luck

Shouldnt we check the alternator belt first to see if its slack and slipping?
