My battery light was flickering a bit and then went solid red below 4000 rpm. So I got the car to Andy and Jon in Fountain Hills, AZ. Had the alternator rebuilt and turned around in 2 days. Car continues to be fantastic. Love my mechanics. They keep the car tight. There's bound to be little fixes here and there. Nothing crazy.

It keeps getting better and better. I love the 355! My son can't wipe the smile off his face ever in it and he's 15. I think I follow in that sentiment.

Glad you got it fixed quick Robb! Did you check to make sure it wasn't the green plug/connector that fried? Mine has done this twice in 3 years and both times I thought it
was the alternator itself but it was just the plug that needed rebuilding.

Also very glad you and your son enjoy the car still. I told you you'd love the 355! Wasn't it me that said "even if you don't buy my car, you HAVE to own a 355 at some point?" ;)

I didn't check that plug but will have a look. I looked through the service records which are complete and didn't see any alternator work, so this may be chalked up to old age. It was not heat related so that's good.

355 is a wonderful experience to drive and own. Hitting one year and all still a big honeymoon.

    Thanks for the good thoughts.
