Hello! Down in the passenger footwell, tucked under the dash, I have an aluminium panel that is a king of copper colour. Does anyone know if it is OK to screw into this? I am looking to install the processor for my Alpine Ai-Net system and think this would be a pretty good place. The screws will be pretty short self-tappers and by the look of it, the panel goes through the bulkhead into the boot/trunk , which is then hidden by the carpet shroud where the wiper mech is.
