Am I crazy to but a green 348?

I wouldn't want one, but I don't like yellow either,

 

also don't think I have ever seen a green 348.

 

I think that car was posted on this site before. Just buy it right (low price) and remember that it will take you a long time to sell as well. Green is very sale-resistant.

IIRC, there were only 1 or 2 Spiders imported in that color, per the seller. So, rare, but you've kind of answered your own question.

I saw a green 308 with brown leather once. In person it was actually a very nice combination.

 

Buy what you like, cause you're gonna love it so much, you'll never sell it. Who cares about resale, your estate?

 

If you like it, I would go for it. I dig the different colors.

 

I think the paint color plate is in the engine compartment on the deck lid.

Of course you're crazy - don't you know 348's are the worst ferrari every made, have constant problems, and have to have the engine out at the drop of a hat for any real maintenance work? jeez - Green's the least of your concerns.

and no, mine's not for sale, even if it is red. Leave the red on tan to the concourse guys, and have fun with what you want. You can sell almost anything at the right price if you need to - so make sure you buy it at the right price up front. I'd bet what a dealer would give you for it on trade-in is less than you think (if you care).

 

I saw a couple of green 355's in NY. Its not my favorite, but it looked much better than I anticipated. As long as it is not a dull green, I don think it's too bad. Metallic greens are much better IMO.

 

Just too many of them for me, I mean you see a yellow on every corner

 

Looked at a green 355 Spider in Ft. Lauderdale a few months ago. It was green with tan. Mechanically the car appeared to be well-kept but the color just did not serve the car justice--and I like the off-colors. I would stay away, or at the very least, check it out in person. Green is a British color.

 

Ok, so what about red ones? Every 10 yards?

Saw a nice green / tan 355 spider today at a local car show. It was very attractive, so I would think the green 348 might also be.

Yes, lift the deck lid and it is a little to the right of center underneath. Very easy to read.

The color does kinda grow on you.
I do like this color combination (green and tan).


I do however prefer Classic Red and Tan . . .
