I'm not kiding...but it's been happening to me for at least the last several years....well, at least since I bougth my 308... Everytime I look at the digital clock here at the office or at home....I always seem to see times associated with Fcars. Silly hun...? 2:06 3:08 3:28 3:48 4:00 4:12 6:12 etc... I guess the 599 will never show up.....lol Cheers
I do the same - I also watch for gas price signs as well - a while back a Chevron by the airport had 308 for regular and 328 for plus on the sign - but dangit I didn't have a camera with me No, I'm sure you're not alone. And when the clock hits "Enzo" it means I better stop drinking Jedi
Oh, it's worse than that. The condo I own in LA is number 908. My Dino's serial number was... 00908. Everytime I go home, I look at the number on the door and remember my Dino. Spooky!
Several years ago, I was designing a component (thruster attachment interface bracket) for a spacecraft chassis which had a radius of curvature requirement to be within the range of (2.90 - 3.20) inch ----- I set the nominal radius to 3.08 inch to amuse myself, and pay homage to my 308 !! For the record, that design completed its mission successfully on July 4, 2004 !
This is called synchronicity In my opinion it is very real and has bearing; however others surely don't believe in that.
I notice this stuff too. I'm working on a project and the construction period is 458 days. Too bad we aren't building one dem fancy "Italia" restaurants.
Every year on the 8th of March, at 3:08 in the afternoon, I pay homage to the 308. On March 28th I do the same for the 328 at exactly 3:28 in the afternoon. Then, on the 48th of March... no... wait... nevermind.
I do the same!!! Even the night I went to take a look at my 308 (before I bought it) the girl at the front desk of the hotel gave me....wait for it....yep, room 308!!! I thought it was a sign that this was the right car for me!!! PDG
Oh, no. You're not the only one! Not only do I do that with clocks, but also on the odometer of the car in Gran Turismo on the Playstation! It's especially fun when doing an endurance race- until you get past the 1000 mile mark and have no more 3 digit numbers to find! Also, in the school gym, there is a paper on the wall saying that the gym's capacity is 458 people! -kevin
