By the way, I think the body is very cool, I may have already said that though. One fear of course would be fixing it if it got damaged. I wonder how much it costs to get a digital 3-D scan of a car body these days? Used to be a lot of money, but now in 2024? Maybe not so much....

Honestly, its pretty ugly. Really bad proportions. Would have been better on a shortened chassis.

Well....I think it's cool looking! Let's start a fight! (Just like on BaT!)

The one true thing that never made any sense to me in the car universe: arguing over something 100% subjective like styling and design (not that I am accusing anyone on the "ugly" side of the fence in this post that they are "arguing" – Ferrari Chat has way too classy of a clientele to do that! And all of us GT4 fans should stick together anyway, as our car has been called the ugliest Ferrari of all time - mostly by Ferrari owners!

Amateurish. I'm not against the concept. The execution however is really lacking.

But I'm a designer so what do I know?

Maybe in the flesh it looks better but I doubt it.

What you know is what you like and don't like. Just like me. I remain unaware that design and styling have absolute wrongs and absolute rights. But I'm not a designer, so what do I know? (Although it's a safe assumption that you'd probably hate the car in the flesh too, although a couple times, I've been surprised with a car that looked very different in person than in photos, usually scale-related elements, sometimes lighting.)

Not a Kit Car - if salvage title, it is a great way to convert a chassis into something usable. There is no KIT as this seems to be one off. I would consider this a rebody.

I love this thing. I don't think is ugly but it is not an exact copy of anything. It is sort of a combination. So what is it?... I see a 312b reference - totally off. I was born into a Dino family - I have been with my GT4 all my life. had the first 206sp factory race car in our garage as a kid, stepdad had 246 as well. The olive oil overfill can in this we had in our 206 race car from the factory.

I mostly see a combination of a couple cars - overall shape of a 1961 246sp but it did not adopt the wrap around speedster windsceen or "shark nose" front shape. I see a lot of 1963 Ferrari 250p without the rear hoop. I see it taking more of a "what if" approach as this is something I could see coming out of the ferrari factory. The lines and design are very much of "in the spirit of" what could have been. I think it is important to note some of the cars were a little awkward in proportion as they came out but now we find them to be beautiful.

This would be a great track day toy for a vintage group. Just don't try to pass off it being an original car.

It is beautiful- but a homogilation- perhaps not a kit car but definitely not an original- regardless, it's beautiful  Enjoy:D

I guess the selling price will be the pretty/ugly judge....right now at $17500 it seems a parts car price but 3 days to go.

246SP is close, but 248 or 268 SP even closer, as these were mid-V8’s.

$53k seems pretty strong, at least a few people seem to love it.

So a 308 GT4 with the rare factory rear seat delete option should actually be badged as a 308 GT2?:p

    Chris,
To answer your original question, I like it. We’re in no danger of completely depleting the supply of original, factory stock GT-4s, so I applaud the vision and individualism.
Not exactly my cup of tea, but I do appreciate what it represents.
