    I can't stand a whale tail. Too me, it looks cartoonish. Whenever I see one advertised, I just turn the page.

    Agreed. Not a pretty sight. Duck's tail not attractive either, but slightly less offensive IMO. 964 solved it with the retractable spoiler.

    Duck tail is OK, so is the retractable spoiler in current 991TTS.
    I can not stand the humongous, ugly wing on current GT3RS and GT2RS.

    I like all the wings and tails for the most part.

    What I don't understand is why guys like to leave the rear wing in the UP position on a regular carrera, even when its parked.

    yeah your too picky. they are all cool. i have 3.3 whale, 3.0 whale , duck and standard decklid. all were standard on G wide bodies.

    I like them on turbos, but tacking them on NA cars looks like wishful thinking to me. Plus I really prefer the clean lines of a C2 or 4.
