a quick search shows the most expensive 06 Vanquish S is priced at around $160k (2000 miles or so) and the cheapest 02 is in the $75k range (30k miles or so)

What do you think the prices will do? How low will they go and when might that happen?

Are they "classic" material? Or will they end up like the DB7s and what not? (low of $30kish - high of $60kish for non GTs)

I like to casually follow the Vanquish's pricing.
About 2 years ago when I was actively chasing them ( before I chose a Boxer instead ) regular Vanqs could be had for aprox $100k. S's for $160k. Occasionally one would pop up for 80-90 with a little story.
I think considering the economy and AM's reputation for depreciation the Vanq has held up very well.
If I were in the market I'd be looking at early S's which can be had for a small premium over normals.

Best sounding factory street car I have EVER heard. This comes from a guy with a Boxer with carbs and pipes.

Only thing keeping them from classic status is the "automatic".

Due to the price of parts and repairs they will end up like the DB7's,Ferrari 456, BMW 7 series and other high end cars. The repair bills will be factored into the used car price.

Talking to brokers I have known for a long time (20+ years) these cars have not been moving at all in the last 6 months and there are a lot of repos and deals out there on these cars. Seems like Astons are a tough sell. I may have to start checking them out. I drove one a year ago and really was not into it. Too big and heavy but for a DD if they are cheap I may go for one.

$25k IIRC. Factory makes a conversion kit. You'll notice it's the same gearshift knob as the DB9 manual, and I think it's the same as the AMV8.
