This is my personal opinion, but I find a car tells you what color it wants to be. Some colors work on certain cars, and don’t on others. Roma, for example, is the worst car in Ferrari’s portfolio to be in red. Amalfi, on the other hand, looks absolutely stunning in red. There is a mystery about this process; I’m not sure how it works, but you know it when you see it.

As for the interior, a cockpit this angular, you would need to spec it very carefully; again personally, I would go for more natural palettes with clean alcantara/leather overlapping the plastics versus the weird color lines framing various clusters and sills.

    **My choice**

Nero Daytona over Nero/Grigio Medio. Goldrake seats/ventilated, polished exhausts, forged painted wheels, black calipers, deletion of passenger display [if possible], black dash elements, no carbon, no shields. Burmester.

My choices only two: Rosso Portofino and Giallo Montecarlo with black or dark grey interior. I only need these two options: LED Steering wheel and Scuderia Shields. Final choice I choose Rosso Portofino

Color choice for me depends on the lines of the car and level of metallic chosen alongside illumination conditions. I was offered a Cali T press car, which I think was called Rosso California. It looked great in dealer showroom and muted outdoor lighting, but too intense for my taste in bright Southern California sunlight. I went with black, no metallic, and have been happy and don't care about dust (which metallic would hide if black).

My taste for Amalfi exterior would be some shade of blue with light metallic and probably a black interior if convertible (top nearly always down for me) and tan if hardtop (to keep interior lighter).

I did my initial paperwork and sent the first deposit yesterday.
My sales person said I would be the 5th or 6th allocation for their store, that getting an allocation is not a problem (first Ferrari and first purchase from this dealership) and the car target arrival mid-2026.
i will be going with a white, have to see the samples in person, and will probably visit the dealership some time this Summer to play with the real configurator.
Thinking about doing some orange seats and stitching if I am going in a lively direction.
If I do my usual look I may do something like beige tradizione.

    Thanks very much
I was in Florence last week and did a local drive event with a pro race car driver in a Portofino M and the public info cam would for the Amalfi dripped later that day. That combo of events finally tipped the scales.
    Fantastic experience
I had done a similar thing in Milan over a decade ago in an F430, which was good but the instructor in Florence was incredible
