    I would hope so, the cost seems to be 2 or 3 times more then a 1/8.

    This one ^ is big on price, but rather low on true collector value. There is a Very narrow market for large scale high priced modern F1 model cars in this price range... at least as far as for most serious model collectors. Secondary market is also not kind to these when it comes time to sell, which includes their 1:8 scale production models. Very difficult to believe the claim of thousands of parts being in each, based on the fact that this is a static model with virtually no engine detail, and no moving parts, or opening panels, and use of molds & castings for many parts. On the plus side, it isn't one of their Chinese made 1:8 production models.
