I've only seen the F40 in person, and it is really awesome and incredible in detail. My only issue with the particular model I saw, it had both US and Euro turn signals. Other than that, they pay attention to really small details in the car that no other model I've seen comes close.

I think they have both us and European version of the F40?

It seems Amalgam did achieve extraordinary and overwhelming good comments about their F40.

Correct, they make both. I ordered the US version.

Interesting oversight on the specific model you saw. Attached is a photo of my F40, which has the correct US directional signals.

In the Amalgam store the Lamborghini Muira is priced over $13,000 while the F40LM is on the $8,000 range; is it because the Muira is produced in Great Britain that the price is so much higher, or is there another reason?

My compliments to Amalgam for sturdy packaging: UPS does not know what the word 'Fragile' means as the shipping container has a fairly large indentation completely across the top, fortunately there is enough 'air space' to preserve the precious cargo inside-thank you Amalgam!!!

Funny you should mention packing. As I mentioned, I purchased four 1:8 models. When the Enzo arrived it was beaten up pretty badly during shipping. Amalgam had me ship the car back and they built me a brand new car. They also packed the car totally differently than the first time and it arrived perfectly. All my others models were packed great as well. Additionally, they sent me detailed photos of the models so that I could approve everything. There were actually a few small details that I caught, and they corrected them prior to shipping. Truth be told, I'm a very difficult, OCD buyer, but they (meaning the team in England, directly with Amalgam) were very accommodating. While all this took some time, I'm very pleased with my collection and I look forward to buying others.

A famous 1/43 builder once told me that he tested their packaging by kicking the parcels down a long flight of stairs. If it survived that he thought there was a reasonable chance of it surviving the post office. Sadly he was sometimes proven wrong.

Where did this image come from, it does curiously look like a hybrid of both the US and Euro specs?!

As a new model, the F40LM is currently in production. The Muira is now a 'back catalogue' item meaning it is available only as an individual 'built to order' model - hence the different price.

I wondered what Amalgam do once a certain model reached its limited number say 199?

Also may I ask whether I could still buy the model carrying case as shown earlier in my messages above? As I bring my amalgam model out for photo shoot quite often.

    Thanks!

I would suggest you call Amalgam since you have so many questions. The number is on their website.

The cases shown are not supplied by Amalgam Collection and therefore must have been custom made for the individual owner.

I wondered if anyone knows why Amalgam called their limited production serial number as "Edition number"? Does that imply improvements of same model overtime ? ( e.g. Later edition LaFerrari have some improvements over the earlier edition ones)

That's fantastic ! Can't wait for your photos
May I ask where you ordered your custom cases and what custom option you went for for the cases? As I am planning to get too depends on your feedback
