My friend's father was doing some work on a house in Alpine and snapped a few camera pics of the cars... Just to name a few he had and Enzo, F50, f40, Murci, 360, Dino, etc etc. He told me the guy's name but I don't remember it off the top of my head (the guy works in real estate). I'll post his name tomorrow, but I figured one of you guys would know of him.

At a Concours event in Morristown two years ago there was a silver F50 there and the owner was from Alpine. Probably same guy.

How about just his first name... or maybe just his initials.

Is there a need of announcing his name without his consent!!!!!!

Don't put the guys name and pictures of his inventory up. Epecially if the pics show interior of his garage.

I agree i wouldnt post pictures of his garage on a public forum but would it be possible for you to email some pictures to me?? It would be just for my eyes and would go anywhere else.

I think Rob should have clarified that the "naming the name" issue is related to divulging full names of members of F-chat. Would it be sacrilege to post part of Jon Shirley's collection (of MSFT fame) and say it's "Jon Shirley's" car? As far as I know, his garage isn't public. But that said, I think the new Fchat rule should be applied with an eye towards reasonability.

Just for the sake of argument let's say I was a car theif who specialized in high-end rides. I would definately browse these boards in search of targets. I would have the guys name, know where he lives, which cars he has and possibly his security system (pics inside the garage).

Also. I know I would fire anyone who worked on my house, then posted pictures of my property, with my name, on the internet.

Just post some pics witout plates/names. Why would anyone need any more info?

Yep that was him... the F50 is Silver. I can't get a hold of the pics, nor would it be right to post them on a public forum without the owner's permission (which I obviously cannot get). So nobody knows this guys name? I figured somebody would. Hmmm... well ill entertain guesses but I guess it wouldnt be right to post it.

Good! No pictures or names. Do not entertain any guesses either.
It is important to respect people's privacy in these matters. If the owner wanted to advertise his cars and his garage in public he would do so by himself.

I know the guy and i don't think he would appreciate his name all over a public internet forum.

Thanks for respecting my privacy Rehan. I appreciate it.

    oh wait. not me. nevermind.

how about post the pics but before you do you do the following: block out the plates, and use the polygon lasso tool in photoshop to cut out the car from the picture. this way there's no background
